ww...I like the tight crop also. I usually crop tightly as I'm taking the photograph, which I did on this one. And then I cropped it again in Photoshop (one of the few things I know how to do in Photoshop!).
jeane...thanks for the compliment! Should I tell you what it is or are you happier not knowing?
vanessa..thanks. Yes, I like the geometry and the gentle curves combined, along with the light.
notmassproduced...yes, that's what got my attention. I was passing by and the neon green just jumped out at me and then I knew I had to grab my camera.
lynne...aha, you must have clicked to see the spider webs! And here's the unveiling. It's the first shoot of a date leaf. Anytime Jerzy eats anything with a seed, he pops it in earth and watches it grow. This time it was the seed of a date.
Ha! I love this "Jerzy- recycling"!! Give back to nature what you got...keep the growing-circle alive. I did this with 5 medlar-seeds some months ago, now I've got five tiny medlar-trees growing...They're supposed to become 5 metres high...this will "overgrow" me a bit, heheee..but at least dates are not so small, neither??
lynne and uschi...check out my next post. We not only have dates we have figs...galore! Thanks to my green-thumbed Jerzy. He keeps snipping off branches of the figs and sticking them in pots.

I like the tight crop on this shot.....and the light filtering through the green makes it glow....and of course I like the screen texture :o)
I love inspiration found close to home, that should be my motto for the week!
love the idea that I don't know what it is....it is gorgeous...you are very good with your camera...
That is amazing! So geometric, yet organic!
wow - that's amazing how you can see through the leaf
There is hope in a seed, and here it is :)
Light is beautiful Kate, as is the shadow play...

Some people just have green fingers. I don't seem to have such luck with pips, seeds and cuttings.
Great shot!
robyn...my fingers are not green at all so it's good we have at least 10 in the family.
