reliquaries new and old

I participated in a local studio tour this past weekend and made a few new reliquary pieces. I thought I'd show them here over the next few days with some of my older pieces.

these are very interesting to me-- not familiar with cast paper -- but assume it is hand made paper cast into forms-- these are very appealing to me.

layers...the paper I use is not handmade. It is cotton linter (which is good for paper casting because of its short fibres) and I soak it and make my own pulp for casting using a blender.
