winter walkabout

I've been away awhile. Planned to come back with a bit of a bang. But perhaps a gentle stroll in my garden during a light dusting of snow will be a nicer way to ease back into things. Good to be back...

Wow! It's cold outside but what a warm welcome back! I'd missed you all but I didn't realize how much I'd missed you until I read your kind and welcoming comments and was reminded what a lovely bunch you are. I've peeked at all your blogs but will do proper visits as I ease my way back into blogdom.

Jo...hugs back to you, my generous friend. Thank you so much for heralding my return to the blogosphere. You have rallied the troops! Looking forward to entering the magic of your blog soon.

Uschi...it's no surprise that you love the more silent approach back. I missed your gentle posts. Will visit soon.

Jeane...what an enthusiastic welcome back. Makes me feel so special! Can hardly wait to see what you've been up to!

Shayla...thanks for your kind comments. Can't wait to 'see' you again too!

Embellisher...I love winter and snow (spoken like a true Canadian!) and there will be more on my next post. What have you embellished lately? Will check it out.

Jessica...nice to see your beautiful face. What a lovely photo of you. FYI...I've been helping you save mountains!

Lynne...what can I say? I missed you, tree woman! Will savour the wondrous things on your blog soon...as I ease back into things.

Robyn...I chuckled over your quiet yay! I was giving my own quiet yay when I glimpsed your nest and egg posts. Missed you. Nice to be back in touch!

Seth...thanks for the welcome. Will be visiting you soon!

Ronna...hey, it was your cheerful complaints about being sick of my geraniums that propelled me back! Glad you like my new images! Looking forward to visiting your blog and brushing up against that fun life that is yours!

Ro..thanks and yes, it is cold. Deliciously cold!

Jacky...glad I could share my winter with you. I love those little clustered white berries too. Fragile but hanging on so resolutely!

Kate...thanks for the welcome. It's so nice to know that my "take" is appreciated :) I love your "take" too!

Roxanne...thanks for your kind comments. Will visit you soon.

Megan...the image you like is one of rose thorns. I love the contrast of the light fluffy flakes barely resting on those spiky fingers.
