snow dog

One of the best things about snow is watching Luka play in it. She's part Husky and absolutely loves the snow. She loves to roll in it, burrow her nose in it, run in it, frolic about in it, eat it, or just sit in it, sniffing the air. She's a joy to watch!

Kate - Luka is absolutely gorgeous - he/she looks very wolf like - part wolf? perhaps - I love the picks of her/him with snow on his/her face - you are so good with that camera! and may I say, it was so nice to find your comment on my blog tonight!

Oh, yes, that is fun. Their enthusiasm is contagious. Our border collie used to hop on to our sleds when we were tobaganing and go down the hill with us.

jacky...we're not snowed in yet but let's talk again in a month or so :)

jeane...from a distance she definitely looks wolf-like. Funny because people are always a bit nervous when they first see her and actually, she is the most gentle and friendly dog around!

shayla...border collies are great dogs! So focused and incredibly smart! And sounds like yours was fun-loving as well! When I was growing up, a neighbour's St. Bernard did the same thing to us when we were tobagganing and we would stop dead in the middle of the hill!

kate...it is wonderful! As long as you're not driving in it!

lynne...snowy love back to you! Looks like it will definitely be a white Chrstmas!

jo...it really is a winter wonderland here. And today we are heading north to a little rented cabin for a week and there should be even more snow there. Hope to do a lot of cross-country skiing. And Luka will be in snow dog heaven!
