kuujjuaq views

On my way home from Kangirsuk I stopped in Kuujjuaq (the biggest town in Nunavik with a population of about 2,150 and located just below the treeline). I spent the weekend with a friend and we took a few walks in this wonderful blue light...just before sunset around 3:30 p.m.

What a blue! It's tenderness itself.

I thought of these photos of you walking under a perfectly blue sky on the fresh virginal snow this weekend.
The violet of the shades on the white.....this coooooooooool light!
So refreshing and beautiful!

Goodness, I've finally got some time to catch up on blogs and what a treat to see your new photos. Your images take my breath - as always. Ever in awe of your keen eye and gift for composition. Just simply beautiful. hugs!

Wow, what gorgeous images. The compositions are wonderful and the cool colors are beautiful. And I really like how you managed to capture that rabbit in action.

These photos fill me with awe. The thought of walking in this wonderland is so totally foreign to me but I yearn to be there.
