scheduled red

As I am away for a few days, I thought it would be a good time to try out the blogging feature of a scheduled post. It took me awhile to figure out how to do it. I kept saving it as a draft, thinking if the date was set ahead, it would automatically post it on that date. The trick seems to be to press the "publish" button (after setting the date ahead) rather than the "save" button and then it is saved as a scheduled post. So I am posting a photo of another porch inspiration and keeping my fingers crossed that this works.

You are so clever! I'm not even going to try and schedule ahead.
I love your brilliant red geranium with screen.

jeane...yes, the post later option is quite a useful feature and once figured out, easy to use. These amazing images are taken right on my screened porch. We have plants inside and out which are a constant source of visual delight!

lynne...maybe by now you have figured it out, but just in case. In your 'new post' window, look in the bottom left-hand corner and you will see 'post options'. Click on that and then scroll down (if necessary) to see 'post date and time' in the bottom right-hand corner. Adjust as needed! Hope this helps!

jo...yes, it did work! Yaaay! But blog savvy? Not sure about that. Getting better though!

embellisher...glad you like the image and so glad that you found the scheduled posting information useful. So I'm not the only one that doesn't know about these things!

notmassproduced...You too! Yes, there always seems to be more to learn. Wonder what's next!

shayla...I love that mosquito netting! Not only does it protect us from those pesky irritants which are around most of the summer (we eat most of our meals on the porch during the nice weather), it does make a mighty fine backdrop!

robyn...glad you like our geranium! And I must say that the scheduled post feature feeds my blogging addiction to new levels! You are probably wise to avoid posting ahead! :)
